Are you interested in doing a doctorate at our institute?
Our dissertations are predominantly cumulative (i.e. 1-2 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, as required by our doctoral regulations).
The topics are mainly focused on microbiological/technological issues. In order to ensure financial security (usually 50 % position for the researcher as well as consumables), we apply for externally funded projects, i.e. the timing of the topic allocation depends on the receipt of the funding commitments.
If you are interested, please submit a short letter of motivation, curriculum vitae, references and, if applicable, suggested topics to the respective professorship in electronic form. We will be happy to add you to our doctoral list and arrange a personal appointment to discuss the details.
