In the "Immunology and Infectiology" section, Ms Laura Karwig impressed the jury with her poster on "Distinct characteristics of novel immunoregulatory canine non-conventional TCRαβ+CD4-CD8α- double-negative T cells" and was honoured by the jury for the best poster presentation. Laura Karwig, a PhD student at the Institute of Immunology since 2022, is working with her supervisor Dr Maria Eschke on the functional characterisation of TCRαβ+CD4-CD8α- double-negative T cells in dogs.
