Doctoral student of the Institute of Immunology wins research award

Valentin Wjst won the predoc award

The predoc award is awarded to students who recently finished with an good graduation and have an project with high potential. The reason for awarding is helping those Students start their doctorate not having to worry that much about the financial part of it.

This applies to our new employee Valentin Wjst, who graduating in 2022 as a veterinarian, will now research the characterization of antigen-reactive T cells in severe equine asthma. Being part of the Emmy-Noether-Research Group we hope his Research will prove to be helpful in understanding the adaptive immune reaction and the pathogenesis of equine asthma as well as bringing forth his successful dissertation.
