Abstract

My name is Julia Dittes, I am a veterinarian since February 2018 and I am the head of PAUL, the centre for applied training and learning of the Faculty for Veterinary medicine in Leipzig. The ongoing development and coordination of the project are the main parts of my daily work, because veterinary education is asked to adapt on changing challenges. A veterinarian should have certain day one competencies to do good veterinary practice all the time.

PAUL offers training possibilities to get and enhance practical clinical skills. Training with the students on different simulators is another important part of my work.
