Abstract

Prof. Dr. med. vet. Christoph K.W. Mülling, Professor für Veterinäranatomie an der UL seit 6/2010. 10/13-9/16 Prodekan, 10/16-9/19 Studiendekan. 2007-10 Full professor und Associate Dean Academic, University of Calgary. 2006 Associate Professor, Nottingham University. 1994-2005 Post-Doc-Training in Berlin, Cornell, Sapporo. 1993 Promotion zum Dr. med. vet. (summa cum laude), FU Berlin. 1988-1993 5-jährige Tätigkeit in der Großtierpraxis. Studium der Veterinärmedizin 1982-1988, FU Berlin. Sein Team verfolgt einen interdisziplinären Forschungsansatz, der klinisch-angewandte Fragestellungen mit Grundlagenwissenschaft verbindet. Drei Schwerpunkte: Integrierte biomechanische Forschung bei Nutztieren und Pferden, Pathogenese von Klauenerkrankungen, In-vitro-Forschung an Haut und Klaue, Lehr- und Lernforschung. Sein Team entwickelt multimediale Lehrmaterialien zur integrierten Vermittlung von klinischer Anatomie. Er hat dreimal den Ackerknecht Preis der VMF für exzellente Lehre erhalten.
