Orf virus infection in humans
Laura Schneider, PhD student at the Institute of Immunology, presented and defended her PhD thesis "Interaction of Orf virus with human keratinocytes and dermal fibroblasts: abortive infection and inhibition of expression of Intercellular Adhesion Molecule-1" on 09.04.2019.
Mrs. Laura Edith Schneider, licensed veterinarian and Hanns-Seidel doctoral fellow, presented her doctoral thesis topic in a 15-minute lecture on 9 April 2019 and then convincingly defended her theses. The extended doctoral commission recognized her defence performance. On June 29, 2019, the certificate of imitation will be solemnly presented in a festive ceremony in the Paulinum.
