Their cost of approx. 50 Euros is based on the "Gebührenordnung für Tierärzte - GOT", a governmentally determined cost calculation.
Husbandry and nutrition counselling
We offer counselling sessions (with or without accompanying animal) in our clinic, in which we can discuss in detail the species-appropriate husbandry including feeding, pair/group composition etc. of birds and reptiles. In the case of bird patients, intensive counselling regarding behavioural disorders (feather plucking etc.) may also be necessary in this context.
Stock examinations
Many exotics enthusiasts have intensified their hobby beyond keeping one or two birds/reptiles. We offer these larger keepers or breeders stock visits in case of problems, especially problems affecting the entire stock (except poisonous animals). These include the assessment of the conditions on site (e.g. infection prevention), the examination of the animals as well as the collection of samples for further diagnostics. Please note that we only offer stock examinations if time permits!
