Bird ward

Housing

Each pet bird is housed individually in an appropriately sized stainless steel cage, which is equipped with a perch made of natural wood and food and water bowls. The cage is housed in a so-called "digestorium", which has a separate air supply to reduce the risk of disease transmission by air between the different patients. In addition, by keeping them separate, we are able to provide your pet with the optimum ambient temperature and humidity for their recovery.

Care

Every day, our patients are provided with fresh food and water by our expert animal keepers. A thorough assessment of the bird's general condition is also carried out. Depending on the underlying disease and feeding habits, each parrot bird is given a rich daily supply of fresh food consisting of vegetables, herbs and fruit. Employment material is additionally offered.

Humidity, temperature and light in the enclosure can be digitally regulated according to the species (e.g. tropical parrots) and the clinical picture.

Reptile ward

Housing

Depending on their species and size, our reptile patients are housed individually in terrariums or boxes, which have separate UV lighting and additional heat sources depending on individual needs.

Care

Each animal is provided daily with the appropriate food and water by our expert animal keepers according to its needs. Assessments of the patients' general conditions and observation is carried out on a regular basis.
